This woody amber whisky fragrance is rich and warm, like a gentle embrace. The name Velours Boisé (woody velvet) evokes the unique, sensual fabric that Jacques Fath frequently used to embellish his evening gowns. A sumptuous New Caledonian sandalwood (extremely warm, sweet, with a rich wood aroma) provides the fragrance's structure. The opening is therefore spicy, rich, and dry with notes of davana and mate, and bright with bergamot. It then blends delicately with the heart note in a warm and aromatic combination of whisky CO₂ and immortelle. The finish is enveloping with notes of Armenian and Guaiac, adding a smoky touch.
